Artists Casey Veggies and Grimes have been booked for Culture Shock 2012, according to an announcement made by Major Events Coordinator Andrew Sacher at the Stood tonight.
Casey Veggies is an up-and-coming L.A.-based rapper who has previously collaborated with rap collective OFWGKTA and rapper Dom Kennedy, Sacher said.
The other artist, the electronic, one-woman project Grimes, is releasing its third record, Visions, on the independent record label 4AD this February, according to Sacher. The label, which signed several shoegaze acts in the 1980s, also house acts such as Bon Iver, The National and Ariel Pink, according to their website.
