He said he would rather have resigned than go through the grueling impeachment process.

Impeachment charges were filed on Wednesday, March 24, at a meeting of the Purchase Student Government Association against Finance Coordinator Nico Marceca. The charges were brought to the Senate by Tech Services Head Edward Willock, but were discarded when the body found Marceca innocent after deliberating in a closed session.

At this week's PSGA meeting held on Wednesday, March 3, the Senate appointed a co-chair for the Elections Committee and passed a motion to create the Campus Initiatives Committee. "Let us take your suggestions so we can improve the campus," said Coordinator of Finance Nico Marceca when pitching the idea to the Senate.

On Wednesday, Feb. 24, the PSGA appointed a new Coordinator of Histories and Documents and two athletic senators. The new CoHaD, Daniel Nanni, said, “I’m excited to contribute to the school and help the PSGA become a little more organized.” The new senators said involvement in the PSGA would help athletes to become more recognized. “I feel like we could get more students to come to our events and bring the whole Purchase community together,” said Athletic Senator Brian Thompson.
